M.C.C is a member of the East Ohio Region of the National Council of Corvette Clubs.
As a member of the East Ohio Region, Members are Eligible to attend approximately 130 Regional Events each year, culminating in an Awards Banquet in March of the following year. The National Council of Corvette Clubs holds a convention each year. In 2021 the convention was held in Northeast Ohio. The Medina Corvette Club holds ten local competition events each year.
The club sponsors several charities each year, donating the proceeds of their competition events to the charities selected by the membership.
- The club sponsored the “Relay for Life” for five years and for the last four years it has been the Medina Food Bank. Each of the two charities received over $1000.00 from the club.
- In 2020 club events were limited due to COVID-19, but still we were able to donate $500.00 to the Battered Women’s Shelter of Medina, $350.00 to the Valley City Food Bank through Life Spring Community Church, and $50.00 to the Cleveland Animal Protective League.
- In 2021 Donations went to VFW Post 5563 and The Medina County Veterans Memorial Fund.
- In 2022 we were able to donate $1000.00 to the Medina Hope & Healing Home and $250.00 to the Medina Food Bank, along with $140.00 in toys to “Toys for Tots”.
- The M.C.C. holds business meetings six times per year. The club also holds social events and cruises when weather permits.
M.C.C. dues are $10.00 per year for a single member and an additional $10.00 for a family membership. The East Ohio Region dues are $50.00 per year per member and the National Council of Corvette Club dues are $35.00 per new member, with spouse for an additional $10.00. After the initial year the National dues are reduced by $10.00.
Officers of the club include but are not limited to President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Governor.
Records of Bi-monthly meetings and other items of interest to club members are published in the monthly newsletter.
Members receive a club decal, a copy of the M.C.C. Constitution, and a club name badge. From the N.C.C.C. they receive a garment patch and a quarterly news magazine.
